High School Girls Golf Program Launching July 1, 2026
High School Girls Golf in Kansas City has traditionally been limited to short clinics, one-off camps, or school team practices with little opportunity for consistent development outside of the season.
This July, we are introducing something different.
We are launching a High School Girls Golf Preseason Training Series at the Back Nine Golf in Liberty, MO. The program is designed specifically for girls entering grades 9-12 to help them prepare for the upcoming season of competitive golf through structured, simulator-based training, competition, and team-style development.
What makes this different
Instead of a traditional “camp” format, this series is built around progression, competition, and preparation.
Players will train in a structured environment that includes:
Simulator-based skill challenges (with advanced feedback)
Short game and scoring competitions
Team formats and leaderboard tracking
Preseason performance testing
Each session is designed to help players understand their strengths, identify areas for improvement, and build confidence heading into tryouts and early-season competition.
Coaching Leadership
The High School Girls Training Series is led by Coach Savannah.
Savannah is a former collegiate golfer who competed in the NAIA National Championships for Women’s Golf her junior year.
Additionally, Savannah served as the head coach for an NJCAA team for two years, helping develop student-athletes. Several of her athletes qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament including
Two female athletes (one freshman and one sophomore)
One male athlete (freshman)
Her competitive playing experience and background in college coaching shapes the structure of the program, with an emphasis on skill development, scoring performance, and preparing athletes for competitive environments.
Built for all levels of high school golfers
Whether a player is returning to their high school team or preparing for their first season, this series is designed to meet them where they are.
Players do not need advanced experience or specialized equipment. The focus is on development, learning, and gaining confidence in a supportive, training environment.
More than just practice
What separates this series from traditional practice opportunities is consistency and structure.
Instead of isolated lessons or occasional camps, players will have the opportunity to:
Train in a consistent weekly format
Track progress over time
Compete in a motivating, team-style environment
Build confidence before the season begins
This creates a clear development experience leading into high school competition.
Kick-Off Event
Before the series begins, we are hosting a High School Girls Golf Kick-Off Event on Wednesday, July 1 (7:40-9:00 p.m.).
The event features simulator games, team competitions, pizza, and introductions to other players in the program.
This event is designed to build excitement, connection, and momentum heading into the preseason training sessions. Girls entering grades 9-12 are welcome. Participation is capped at 12 girls.
Weekly Sessions
Our weekly sessions will start after the kick-off event. These sessions are offered on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:30 p.m.
During that time, girls will work on their short game (putting and chipping), their full-swing mechanics, and learn the rules/etiquette needed for the competitive season.
Girls are not required to attend every week. You can register for classes individually to build a schedule that works for you.
What comes after the preseason series?
This program is not a one-time preseason experience. It is the beginning of a structured development pathway for high school girls golf.
After the preseason series, girls have the opportunity to continue training throughout the competitive season with our In-Season Performance Series on Saturday mornings (10:00-11:30 a.m.).
The goal is to provide ongoing development, not just preparation, so players can continuing improving beyond the start of the school season.
