Developing golfers. Changing the Game.
KC Junior Golf is more than a junior golf program. We combine expert coaching, intentional practice, and a fun environment to ensure every junior is successful on the course and beyond.
New Structure Starting July 6
For the last three years, our goal has been to grow the game of golf. To do this, we offered weekly range sessions throughout the Kansas City area. Our only goal was to make sure everyone was having fun and wanted to come back next week.
However, it is time for something new.
Starting on July 6, we are launching our Player Performance Program. This program is designed to offer juniors a structured pathway for development. Instead of showing up each week and just hitting balls, juniors will have specific activities to complete. The activities are designed to improve every aspect of the game (putting, chipping, the full-swing, and strategy). Additionally, juniors are now organized by skill level and will have monthly Challenge Days to measure their development.
Of course, we are still keeping our beginner programs. Our New to Golf Series includes weekly Explore Sessions. These sessions are a great opportunity for juniors to explore golf without a weekly commitment. You can come once, twice, or as many times as you would like before joining the Player Performance Program.
Our lessons are open to ages 4-18 and do not require any equipment or experience to participate.
Meet the Coach
Our 2026 programs are led by Coach Savannah.
Savannah played four years of college golf in the Kansas City area and competed in the 2021 NAIA National Championship for Women’s Golf. She also coached college golf in the Kansas City area. During her two years as the head coach, she helped three golfers qualify for the National Championship, including one men’s golfer (freshman) and two women’s golfers (one freshman and one sophomore).
Before starting KC Junior Golf, Savannah coached with the First Tee of Kansas City, where she was the Lead Coach for the Northland Programs for three years. She has also helped with junior golf programs at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex, Shoal Creek Golf Course, and the National Golf Club of Kansas City.
Where We Play
We offer lessons throughout the Kansas City area: the Northland and Southeast KC.
Our Northland programs are at the Back Nine in Liberty, MO. This facility allows us to work on putting, chipping, and the full-swing without having to worry about the weather. Additionally, families have the option of purchasing a membership there, which allows them to practice golf whenever they would like.
Our Southeast KC programs are launching in August of 2026. They will also be indoors, allowing us to work on putting, chipping, and the full-swing without having to worry about the weather.
