Developing golfers. Changing the Game.
KC Junior Golf is more than a junior golf program. We combine expert coaching, intentional practice, and a fun environment to ensure every junior is successful on the course and beyond.
Same Game, Just More Fun
At KC Junior Golf, our goal is to grow the game of golf. We want kids to have an opportunity to show up, explore the game, make new friends, and fall in love with a sport they can play the rest of their lives. To do this, we created a program that meets every junior at their current skill level and grows with them. Here’s a quick look at our 2026 Sessions:
Early Birdies
These lessons are designed for our youngest golfers (daycare and pre-school students). Each week, we visit our partner organizations and help our Early Birdies fall in love with the game. In addition to learning the basics of golf, kids are also developing their motor skills, learning about social dynamics, and gaining new life skills. All equipment is provided, and we bring the lessons directly to the kids.
Just Fore Fun
Just Fore Fun lessons are designed for juniors who want to try golf without a weekly commitment. These lessons are offered weekly and introduce kids to the fundamentals of golf. Each week, kids will learn/review the full swing, chipping, and putting. These lessons are open to ages 4-18 and do not require any equipment or experience to participate.
Par Series
Our goal is to prepare kids for the golf course, regardless of their current skill-level. The Par Series is designed for beginning golfers who do not have any lesson or playing experience. In this series, juniors meet each week to build confidence and course-readiness. Each week, juniors will work on their full-swing mechanics, as well as chipping and putting. Additionally, juniors will be introduced to the different rules and etiquette they need for the course.
Birdie Series
The Birdie Series is designed for juniors who have experience taking lessons or playing on the course. These lessons build on the fundamentals and prepare juniors for competitive golf. Juniors meet weekly, and each practice has two parts: practice and play. The practice portion includes a list of tasks for juniors to complete. These tasks are designed to help them refine their full-swing and improve their short game (chipping and putting). The play portion allows juniors to compete against each other and test their skills.
Individual Lessons
Individual lessons are designed for juniors who thrive in a one-on-one environment. Each lesson still includes the full swing and short game, but the activities are tailored to each kid and their personal goals. These lessons do not require any equipment or experience to participate. However, space is limited and spots fill very quickly.
Meet the Coach
Coach Savannah founded KC Junior Golf in 2024, to provide an opportunity for kids to golf in the Northland.
Savannah played four years of college golf, including an appearance in the 2021 NAIA National Championships for Women’s Golf.
After graduating, she coached with several different organizations including the First Tee of Greater Kansas City, the Watson Links, The National Golf Club of Kansas City, Paradise Pointe Golf Complex, and Shoal Creek Golf course.
As the Program Director at KC Junior Golf, Savannah uses her TPI Certification to build lesson plans that are engaging and encourage consistent growth for all juniors.
