KC Junior Golf is expanding in 2026 with online junior golf programs designed to support young golfers beyond in-person lessons. These programs will help kids build skills, confidence, and a love for the game. These programs are designed for all kids, whether they are new to golf or preparing for an upcoming season.

What will the programs include?

Our online programs are designed to promote independence, confidence, and improvement. These programs can be completed at home or at the course. Each lesson includes a full list of materials, guided instructions, and reflection/note sections for you to record your practices.

The specifics vary for each program, but here is a general overview:

• Beginner-friendly golf fundamentals

• Skill-building drills kids can practice at home, in their yard, or at the course

• Age-appropriate instruction and challenges

• Confidence, focus, and sportsmanship lessons

• Optional progress tracking and goal setting

A Quick Look at Program Tracks

We offer two program tracks: Explore and Compete. The Explore Program is designed for beginner golfers who are looking for a gentle introduction to golf, and the Compete Program is designed for golfers looking to practice on their own and prepare for playing on the course or competing.

Explore Program

Explore is designed for beginners and younger golfers who are new to the game. This program focuses on fun, movement, and comfort with a golf club. All of these activities can be completed at home - in your living room, basement, or even the yard.

What to expect:

• Activities you can complete inside or outside

• Short, follow-along videos led by a coach

• Weekly challenges to test skills and build confidence and coordination

• A low-pressure introduction to golf fundamentals

Explore is perfect for kids who are curious about golf and parents looking for a positive, age-appropriate way to introduce the game.

Compete Program

Compete is a more hands-on online experience designed for kids who want to improve their skills and prepare for on-course play and competition.

What to expect:

• A structured video library covering golf fundamentals

• Weekly, interactive practice plans that can be completed at home or at the course

• Coach feedback to support progress and accountability

• Focus on readiness for the course and competitive play

Compete helps young golfers develop consistency, confidence, and a practice routine that supports long-term improvement.
