Why We’re Changing

Our mobile setup allows us to prioritize kids’ experiences with the game of golf.

By utilizing local parks and community spaces, we are able to create a more relaxed, engaging, family-friendly environment where junior golfers can develop skills, build confidence, and make new friends.

This transition also gives families added flexibility and convenience, with sessions offered closer to home throughout the community.

Programs & Ages

Our sessions are designed to meet junior golfers where they are in their development, with age-appropriate instruction and clear pathways for improvement.

Golf in the Park sessions are offered for ages 3-18, with three development paths:

Early Birdies (Ages 3-4)

Our youngest golfers are introduced to the game through movement, play, and imagination. At this age, the goal isn’t perfect technique; it’s building confidence, coordination, and a love for golf.

Sessions are filled with active games that help kids learn the fundamentals. Our oversized clubs make it easier to hit, and the variety of games (putting challenges, target games, obstacle courses, and team relays) keep kids excited to learn.

Every session is designed to be fun, encouraging, and age-appropriate, creating a positive first experience that helps young golfers look forward to coming back each week.

Intro to Golf (Ages 5-18)

This section is perfect for beginners and newer players learning the fundamentals of the game. Lessons focus on:

  • Basic golf skills (grip, stance, swing)

  • Different clubs and when to use them

  • Coordination and balance

  • Confidence and enjoyment

  • Introduction to golf etiquette and gameplay

The Intro to Golf section includes 4 regular lessons + a celebration day. By the end of this section, golfers will be ready to join the Builder Series.

Golfers in this section do not need any clubs to participate. Lessons are organized by age: 5-6, 7-9, 10-12, and 13-18.

Builder Series (Ages 6-18)

This section is designed for returning players and juniors ready to continue developing their skills in a more structured environment. Sessions focus on:

  • Swing development

  • Shot consistency

  • Short game improvement

  • Course awareness and strategy

  • Long-term player development

The Builder Series is all about transforming the golfer’s mindset and game. Golfers are divided by age: 6-8, 10-12, and 13-18. Before joining the group, each golfer will complete an assessment to help us understand their current swing, skill capacity, and understanding of strategies, rules, and etiquette. The results will be used to measure their growth throughout the season.

Each week, golfers work through a curriculum designed to prepare them for the course. At the start of each practice, golfers will receive a lesson plan that includes activities for putting, chipping, and the full swing. Some activities are independent (based on their individual assessment), and some activities are for the group, emphasizing secondary skills such as patience, integrity, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.

Practice Set Up

Each practice includes three dedicated practice spaces, allowing junior golfers to develop all aspects of their game.

Short Game Area

Our short game area focuses on putting and chipping through a combination of skill-building drills, target challenges, and fun competitive games. Players learn touch, distance control, and accuracy while developing confidence around the green.

Full Swing Area

The full swing area provides a safe and structured environment for players to work on fundamentals, ball striking, and swing development. Our mobile setup helps golfers build solid mechanics while receiving age-appropriate coaching and feedback.

Open Practice Area

Families are encouraged to take advantage of our open practice area before or after scheduled sessions. This space allows players to continue working on skills, play games, and spend additional time with a club in their hands. Parent supervision is required during all open practice times.
